Because they brought in specific grass this week for the two games. Pretty sure they bring a field specialist for the games as well.

The grass week 1 is fine. They just don't re-sod until later in the year. So its alot of wear and tear. That said, its still in better shape than most fields around the league and thats with two teams playing on them. Some times back to back.

Yeah I've never had complaints with Sun Life Stadium's turf. Those groundskeepers do a great job at that stadium.
