Freezing rain/Snow. I don't remember a Miami game in the past 9 years where we overcame snow.

Powerful winter storm system and cold Arctic air to move to the area for tonight through Sunday.

A winter storm organizing over the Great Basin will slowly drop South today and strengthen as it nears the Desert Southwest. The upper low driving the system will reach Arizona tonight and then cross Northern Mexico late Saturday through Sunday. This will spread showers to far western New Mexico tonight. The showers will spread east on Saturday and become more numerous. Snow levels will begin around 7000 feet Saturday but fall rapidly to the desert floor by Saturday evening as a cold front moves in from the east. The Heaviest snowfall is expected from Mid Day Saturday through Sunday evening. The front will also bring brisk winds with it which will likely produce some blowing snow. The system moves into Central Texas Monday morning, allowing our skies to clear. Very cold temperatures will persist Sunday and Monday.

Winter Storm Warning in effect from 5 PM Saturday to 11 PM MST Sunday.

The National Weather Service in El Paso Tx/santa Teresa has issued a Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow, which is in effect from 5 PM Saturday to 11 PM MST Sunday. The Winter Storm Watch is no longer in effect.

Timing: rain showers will turn to snow by late Saturday afternoon or early evening and last into Sunday evening.
Main impact: 3 to 6 inches of snow will cause dangerous driving conditions and may lead to some road closures.
Other impacts: snow and blowing snow could reduce visibilities to less than one mile.

I'd worry more about the lack of adjustment we know won't come from No-d then a stupid weather forecast.

They are the #1 passing team in the nation. If anything this should be considered a positive (not an excuse). We shall see just how goldenized these boys are.

Remember the Miami vs Nevada bowl game in 2006? Pretty sure it was 10 degrees for most of that game. Never seen a group of guys NOT want to be on the field more than the UM players that night.

I think that's the last bowl game we won. That really shines a light on how awful we've been for such a long time.

Football gets harder in the cold and with rain / freezing rain and wind it should drastically slow down their ability to throw the ball.
