Don’t know if this needs its own thread but just looking at our new staff has had me excited. Ik over the last few years when we hire a coach that has come from a winning culture/team we praise it, get excited and then it doesn’t exactly translate to our culture. The difference with our staff is every coach we’ve been hiring has been at a successful program recently and just throughout there career.

Mario Cristolbal/Mirbal/Salave (All at oregon)
35-13 (2 Pac-12 titles, rose bowl win)

Kevin Smith (10 win season in 2021-22 and an appearance in sugar bowl, apart of staff that had 2 first place finishes in the C-USA)

Josh Gattis (Appeared in CFP 2022 + won big 10, coached on that 18’ Bama team)

Frank Ponce (OC of 10 win app state team in 2021-22)

Kevin Steele (10 win season in 17’ as DC has also been on successful bama staffs as well)

jahmile addae (DB coach on Georgias national championship team in 2022)

Overall every single coach that has been confirmed on the field was apart of a 10 win season in the 21-22 season, minus Kevin Steele (Who has been around forever on plenty of great teams that he played a big role in)

Addae was apart of the championship team in 21-22, Gattis had a playoff appearance and won the big 10 in 21-22, The Oregon Trio won 10 games and appeared in the Alamo bowl, Smith 10 wins and Sugar bowl appearance in 21-22, Ponce 10 win season in 21-22. If you combine all the wins from there 21-22 season you have a total of 66 wins from 6 coaches (Avg. 11 wins per coach). Now obviously the coaches who were just position coaches weren’t the main/only factor for the successful season but they’ve been around it, helped it, and now they all bring it together as one staff.

Sorry if this thread all over the place but THE PANTS ARE OFF. WE HAVE A COMBINATION OF ALL RECENT WINNERS AND NOT GUYS THAT COACH @INCARNATE WORLD FOOTBALL (PATKE)
