It’s half scheming the plays, but half execution. You’ve got to respect how well UL executed those plays. I don’t have confidence in our coaches to install the discipline. Look at the TD pass to the eligible T. He doesn’t sell a pass block, he pass blocks with proper technique so the defenders can only assume it was more eye candy, then he releases. That’s repetition and attention to detail.

And what's wild is their QB was relatively average. He missed about 4-5 easy throws that would have resulted in huge gains because we didn't have a defender in the same zip code as the receiver.

Dan Mullen did. All the best guys do. I remember a play KC ran with Hill in the slot in near the goal line. He went in motion slow then as he started back to the left he full on sprinted back to the right flat and the defender was beat. It was obviously man in that type situation and he got the matchup he wanted. A few weeks later Mullen did the same thing with Toney,,,,,td as well. Andy Reid has admitted to stealing a bunch from college Oc’s. The transformation of his offense the last fifteen years is crazy. You can’t even recognize it anymore .

Dawson using plays that Richt and Enos left in the desk drawer

Shanny ran a great play for a short TD pass to CMC on Sunday.

I bet you $500 McDaniel runs the same play in the next 3 weeks.

Only people like us that “KNOW” what Andy Reid offenses used to look like can appreciate this. The days of trying to scheme Todd Pinkston and James Thrash open multiple years have scarred me for life. Totally different in KC than he was in Philly.

am pretty sure this is slant vs the zone (when dawson thought they'd be in man) that dawson was talking about in the presser. this looks like a TD if TVD saw brashard and threw it towards the "I" in miami.

And it is timing and feel for the game... which I think many here have the least confidence in with our staff...

Nothing Brohm ran or called is that new or revolutionary. That stuff has been being done for years. I can't fathom an OC who doesn't already have that in their repertoire.

Can’t fathom???

90% of what Brohm called on Saturday we haven’t seen from Dawson while at Miami

Based on your post what does that say about Dawson

#2 in this article charts the evolution/variation of that play in the NFL

That he scored 31 points while running a caveman offense.

That loss was on the defense.

Roman is so good at this. Really makes it easy for the average person to understand. What a contrast in offensive systems,,,

He does a great job breaking things down. Dawson is an issue but not very often (we know why) do they ever fault the QB.

We can debate the percent blame to go around between Dawson/Mario and TVD but I promise it’s not 70% on Dawson. It lies somewhere in the middle and combined you get the results that we have.

Also, on that sack - no one picked up TVD.

When do you ever see where an offensive line doesn’t pick up their QB, especially Francis who gave up the sack. Something happened on that play call and these guys don’t seem to care for TVD.
