Why?

We are 10-1 playing for our first ever ACC Championship with a good shot at the playoffs, but even if there wasn't playoff implications I don't understand why some Cane fans aren't going now due to today's game. I'll be there cheering my butt of and I know most of you on here will be too, we just tend to get a lot of bandwagons, what's new though?

Just cuz the prices dropped doesn't meant that it's Canes fans selling their tix. A lot of these stub hub sales are probably being done by people not affiliated with either program and a top 3 matchup would have enticed higher prices. Don't assume that its Canes fans dumping tickets.

The game is not as marquee a matchup as it was 24 hours ago. Also, Cane fans are probably dumping tickets like crazy because they see a 28 point curb stomping as the probable outcome.

Was this a serious question?

And they were still 2 weeks for both teams and potential losses in store. now its not a top 3 matchup. sellers want to get rid of their tickets because the demand isnt as high.

Kind of like when I bought my tickets for ND this past summer. They were $125 a piece then and went up to over $200 2 weeks before kick. Because the game was in high demand.

The third party sellers dont want to be holding their jocks and are trying to off load their tickets.

I can totally understand where the whole "we don't need you, we don't want you bandwagoners" thing comes from, you feel like you deserve to be a cane fan more than them because you were on it before it was cool. But drop the act. We want them, we need them. They are needed to provide our athletic department and university revenue with their dollars that they can choose to spend on miami or not. I would prefer they choose to spend them on Miami, and so should any other Miami fan with any modicum of intelligence.

Did I say they weren't welcome?

But when you plan on attending the game and now that we dropped a game our first loss all year, being 10-1 and playing for our first ACC title, with a good shot at the playoffs... NOW they don't wanna attend.
