Strong "Irritated" With Miami Rumors

Man...I understand his lack of immediate success at UT is a turn off to some, but this Bridgewater being the only reason for his success at Louisville is like one of the craziest things I have ever heard. Please stop...Please...I beg of thee

Record with Heisman QB: 30-9 (17-5)

Record without Heisman QB: 17-19 (11-12)

Do we really need to post pre/post Brady stats for BB ? Irrelevant.

He should be irritated at how poorly his team at Texas is playing...Head shakingly horrible....

That's what these guys are saying and they try to throw shots at miami.

Guys, stop talking about Charlie Strong possibly leaving Texas to take over at Miami.

Reports have linked Strong to the Hurricanes' opening, saying either he is interested or that Miami believes he would be interested if approached with the opportunity. However, that doesn’t seem to be true considering the Austin American-Statesman reported Strong "has become irritated" with the reports.

According to OrangeBloods.com, Strong has not spoken with anyone at Miami.

And honestly, why would he speak with anyone at Miami?

Strong said last month he has "the best job in the country." And though some may debate that statement, it’s hard to argue Miami is a better gig. First off, Strong is pulling in $5 million per season in Austin. Former Miami coach Al Golden made just north of $2.5 million per year before being canned. Secondly, the resources at Texas dwarf nearly every other program in the country, while Miami shares a stadium with the NFL's Dolphins 20 miles from campus.

But let’s not just rag on Miami, let’s consider why they would bother trying to pull Strong away from the Longhorns.

Strong has won just 10 games in his two seasons at Texas. Granted, two seasons may not be enough time to establish yourself in a program — Strong went 14-12 in his first two seasons in Louisville before posting a 23-2 record over the next two seasons. Still, Strong doesn’t fit the bill as a candidate worthy of breaking the bank for the Hurricanes.

The question is, is he doing more with less at Texas? Has he done more with less in his coaching career? I think the answer is no. Pass.

If you only knew what the other coaches around the SE are thinking about it.

Rumor are that

Jimbo is the one putting out all the rumors about Strong getting ****ed off.
Saban is entertaining offering his daughters hand in marriage to Roger Harriott.
George Oleary is checking into whether or not UCF can change their names to the Little Hurricanes.
Jim McElwain is putting his name in for the Texas job.
