Strangest place you've run into a Miami fan

Paris, 2018, at Eiffel Tower, a souvenir peddler wore a cap with the U insignia on it. When I asked him if he knew what the cap’s insignia meant, he said, “The U, World college champions in Florida!” When I told him I had attended the U, he went on offer me an extra Eiffel Tower souvenir for the same price as three.

I met some canes fans in Dublin Ireland at a pub lol they also loved the dolphins and dan Marino lmfao most random thing ever

40 miles west? There's nothing there. Except I drove through and there was this small town called Panacea. I don't know if it was deserted or populated.
Panacea is south of Tallahassee. It's located in Wakulla county, which is the county that produced UF's dumb *** QB, Falafel Franks. I grew up west of Tallahassee, in Jackson County.

Thomasville, Ga. Where you from?
I am from Sneads, FL.

I'm very familiar with Thomasville. I watched a lot of high school football games there, and I catered a ton of weddings in Thomasville, back in the day.

My uncle lives in Sneads. Small world. Never thought anyone on this board would’ve heard of Thomasville.

Side note, this has been a surprisingly interesting thread.

You're surprised about Thomasville? Thomasville is literally 10 times the size of Sneads. Lol.

Your uncle lives in Sneads? It's definitely a small world, for sure. My parents, grandparents (on both sides), and tons of uncles/aunts/cousins still live in Sneads. I will be in my hometown this week for a family reunion.

Haha, I was going to say “Thomasville, let alone Snead’s.” But I didn’t want to offend you. Lol!

Smallworld huh, i ended up there helping some family out. I ended up getting a job at Quad graphics in Fairfield. I used to catch games at the bar called 401 it surprised me a lot of migrants from south & central florida were there. Good times never the less. Got plenty *** from PA & Hagerstown,MD 😆

I was hiking down Stone Mountain, Ga. and about half way down I run into somebody walking up who sees my shirt and says, " Miami in the house!" That's the last thing i expected to hear.

What's the strangest place something like that's happened to you?
Venice Italy’s the Marco Polo airport

Was visiting Cumberland Caverns in Tennessee when I came across a fellow Cane. I had the U on my hat and just thought that was cool to be 300+ ft underground and run into a Cane fan. But in all honesty, we ran into a bunch of Canes on vacation all through Tennessee and North Carolina.

I had the pleasure of watching Pitt ruin our season two years ago in Florence, Italy. Walked by this little bar and they had the game on and there were about 10 Cane fans in there.

Also hiking the Narrows in Zion NP.
