Strangest place you've run into a Miami fan

Almost everywhere i go i see someone wearing gear or rooting for us at a random bar we nationwide

Had to have knee surgery about 10 years ago and I was told to dress comfortably. So I wore an old Miami t-shirt.
After I was wheeled into the OR the anesthesiologist looks down at me and says “Nice shirt. I graduated from Miami’s Medical school. Your gonna be fine.” I went under and I never saw him again. The knee is still as good as new today.
 
The DMV office here in Raleigh, NC. Getting my license back after multiple DUI charges and stuff. Guy sees my tattoo and asks if I like the U. I say of course. He says hes actually Larry Jones ( I think that was his name) cousin. We end up talking and he has a nephew from Larry who plays at Oxbridge, LB, 2018 class I believe, and I say oh yeah we could use him at The U. Anyway, i have no tangible proof but I feel like that renewal should of cost more than it did 😉. A cool dude for sure.

Hole in the wall joint in Jasper, a little town like 10 minutes south of the Georgia state line.

The crazy part was FSU and UF were playing that afternoon for their North Florida lightweight belt (so you can imagine the crowd in there hollering at the TV)

Just as I'm leaving the place after the game, a guy walks in wearing UM gear from head-to-toe.

I gave him an enthusiastic "Go Canes" but he barely nodded and that was it.

Come to think of it, maybe he just was somebody who happened to wear Miami gear to a bar in God-forsaken Jasper and didn't give a **** about football.

Lol... please don't tell me your operation was at UHealth hospital.
 
I lived in Beijing and had to either stream the games on a laptop, or find a bar that somehow had a sports package.

Found a decent bar, and made some Canes friends while living there.

Unfortunately, the teams were 2009-2012 and they sucked a big **** but :effort:
 
I am a retired federal prosecutor and graduate of Miami Law . A few years ago I was interviewing terrorists at a prison in Israel and saw a guy walking around the yard wearing a Cane t shirt. He wasn't in the lock down unit so he wasn't in for terrorism.

Was visiting some Buds in ATLANTA and picking up a Pizza in Woodstock. Guy from kitchen yells out All about The U, comes running out of the kitchen and drops the U🙌🏿.I dropped it back, high fived him.left s big tip.

Hong kong in Tijuana one of the porters recognized me while I was getting some head. Hahahaha. Tough to explain that one
 
Kansas city while driving a transit bus. I was driving downtown and i was driving by an event and was sitting at a light. He was wearing a cane shirt and iwas wearing my Canes hat.
Flashed the U at each other.

Another guy when I worked on cars, he actually worked at the U in the athletic department and would only take his Audi to me to get worked on here in KCMO.
