At the end of the day this is 100%. We won. In the nfl no one cares about style points it’s just about getting a W any way possible. We got a win. We need 2 more to make a bowl. Need to find a way to beat fsu but we will need to score 30pts. Just not sure that’s possible. Defense needs to create turnovers

while I agree teams that win like this in the NFL get exposed pretty bad. its a W that you take bc its a W but we've are a bad team and we've played horribly. just got lucky UVA is worse or as bad at best

Don’t disagree that’s why I have said in other threads fsu probably destroys us sadly. So does Clemson. That leaves ga tech and Pitt as must wins just to get in a bowl.

We lose that game in the past. After rewatching, the defense did exactly what they should do. TBH I cannot believe we were effective with QB contain. UVA has tight ends and uses them. Normally this type of team runs all over us. Steele put the D in place to be successful. They played assignment football and it worked. Yes, the offense is poo but we figured out how to win. Sorry to be a bit positive. I’ll hang up and listen

we got lucky it was a relatively clean game from a penalty and turnover standpoint. (none for UM, and only 5/22 penalty wise). imagine if we had turned it over

The defense did well but we also have to remember that this UVA offense is HORRIBLE. They’re 1-4 in conference having not scored over 20 points in any of the games.
