I think we could try one year with manny as head coach and Chud as assistant chief of staff to Ed Reed and see what happens

I'm with you, and on that note a decent coach would have had a decent defensive coordinator...because a decent coach would've recognized the talent on the roster, and wouldn't have waited so long to put the right guys in the right positions on offense...and a decent coach would not be playing patty cake during defensive drills throughout the week...and a decent coach would have made sure every player was held accountable for the mistakes they made in games.,...because a decent coach would've known his *** was on the line and the record goes next to his name on the wall at the end of season and remains there etched in stone, for the whole world to see!


Sorry. I went off on a rant there....long story short. I agree, lol.
 
To think Manny would stay because he beats Dook and a toilet bowl is laughable. No one would watch next season.

Actually Insanity is doing the same thing, over and over again, but expecting different results. So you expect a different result the 5th time? Do you realize how many of the top coaches struggled early. Butch was the last decent coach we had and many here wanted him fired and flew banners yet he built one of the GOAT teams of all time. By the way, Mario Cristobal college win/loss record is 61 and 59 and 3-3 in bowl games. He just loss to Utah and early to Stanford yet he is a favorite here on this site.

none of the so-called big names that are causing such a fantasy jizzfest around here are the right guy. Its going to take a strong man
that has skills beyond just coaching and has an Alpha Dog personality with the right vision and someone who can turn kids into champions and men.

hiring anyone that is anything less than that is just more wasted years and keeping mandy around is beyond stupid and insane.

No, I'm sure there's more. They just know if they poke their head out, it's getting taken off. Some of the excuse I've seen for this bum are insane. Instead of getting behind joining 21st century big time football they'd like to diddle the mayor's boy.
