Maybe nobody's hearing the "hope he gets better" because the other 94% of what you post is about how much the guy sucks. The guy averaging almost 10 wins per season for 15 years. In a much tougher conference. In a suckier recruiting area. Who's convincing moms of inner city black kids it's safe to send their kids to the deep south.

I love the Richt hire (although I really wanted Butch). With that said, just last week we had dozens of threads bashing Butch for only winning 9 games at a time when there was 1 less game played per year. Why does Richt get a pass on it when there are more games played, but Butch doesn't?

This is not a support Butch question, but more of a here is the hypocrisy of this board statement.

Now lets move forward, and lets get back to being great. I have high hopes for Richt. Assuming all realistic options, Richt was always my #2 . I was desperately hoping we could have pulled him in the last coaching search, but I knew it wasn't happening then.
