- no - that should not be the goal but the talent level between the top 10 teams is closer than most think
- build a team than can be in the running and win a weak conference and you have a BIG chance to be in the final four

Maybe nobody's hearing the "hope he gets better" because the other 94% of what you post is about how much the guy sucks. The guy averaging almost 10 wins per season for 15 years. In a much tougher conference. In a suckier recruiting area. Who's convincing moms of inner city black kids it's safe to send their kids to the deep south.
