This offense moved the ball all night. The players just didn’t execute. Gattis didn’t drop the balls or make the mistakes. I like this offense. We will win big with it.

I remember when some of you were calling for Lashlee’s head when he was here, but he is god now that he is out. I also remember that we had a lot of red zone problems with Lashlee and a terrible run game. We will be fine guys. Chill.

He can't control bad routes, dropped passes, bad throws, etc. If you want to criticize him for not developing WR's as their position coach, that is fine but we BS sealed the game for them on a pass that hit his face and Parrish dropped a potential TD pass to his numbers. We had almost 400 yards, the scary part is we have nothing as far as WR's. @Cribby tried to warn everyone. Our OL and Rb's looked very good. Our Defense is clearly ahead of the offense but WR is scary.

So true. Yes red zone can improve but we got 27 first downs and moved the ball. Running game was very good.

Early in season and new offense and we moved the ball against a defense that will have a ton of NFL players.

I agree except for the redzone. Very conservative play calling in the redzone when we were down 11. Three running plays and them a field goal. One of the plays was a designed TVD run. No.

Put skinner, Young, and Ladson in the game and throw to tall WRs in the endzone.

A very uncreative redzone passing game.

He doesn’t scheme guys open! He doesn’t give the QB easy throws. I don’t see any screens to the RBs, barely any slants. No fades, posts or corner routes or seem routes to the TE! We made ZERO throws into the end zone! ZERO!!!! Unacceptable!!!

so hard to tell - just not sure (outside of horrific RZ calls) what he could do with receivers that couldn’t get separation or catch the ball.

It isn't tough to put up yards when you're only facing 4 down lineman the majority of the game. A&M was happy to give up short yardage plays and let us run between the 20's.

When push came to shove inside the red zone, I saw some of the worst play calling I've ever seen. We didn't do ourselves any favors and we couldn't find the end zone.

If I'm any other team we face going forward, you do the same **** thing. You keep two safeties back and let the linebackers sit on the ground game. We have no answer for that schematicly or personnel wise.

The bad part of it is the philosophy of this offense. You've gotta execute perfectly and if you don't, good luck. You've gotta play catch up and don't have a half to do it, good luck.

Unimpressed to say the least.

Gattis doesn't suck.

Gattis needs to improve on making his system fit his players though. We need more space to make the game easier for QB and WRs.

His route concepts are very NFL like. And we dont have NFL personnel across the board like that yet.
the issue is hes not gonna be here to run that well and we may never get the NFL personnel at WR for him to do that well. kids aren't gonna come to this offense when it shows like that

Parrish drop was an easy throw.

Some of you guys forget so quickly. I guess out of sight is out of mind. You remember one big knock on Lashlee was that he disappears in big games. With him we were always on second and long and lots of punting. I guess you love that. I don’t. This loss is squarely on the shoulders of the players. Not Gattis.

Remember when we said we needed those kinds of players defensively to execute a certain DC's game plan?

How did that work out for us?

When your playbook needs to out talent teams to win, there's a problem with the playbook. There's a reason great offenses churn out yards every game. They keep defense on their heels by exploiting vulnerabilities in the defense.

Hey coach, congrats on all the yards. Just an fyi, the object of the offense is to score points. You managed to score ZERO on a defense that was depleted, to say the least. What a joke.
