It's not the players it's Folden. One player was arrested (really a notice to appear) during RS's tenure. Folden's numbers are embarrassing.

There is no need to mention RS at this point. No one mentioned Larry Coker when RS was not getting it done.

Mo Lord, stop the race crap. Randy was family and did nice job keeping the kids out of trouble. He even managed to be about the ONLY person free of fleas from that dog. BUT he was not a good HC and he also only had one QB. You make no mention of the fact that Randy did not seem able to keep any white QBs. One could slap that race card on Randy but why. He got the job and failed miserably. Coker did leave bare bones. Randy left a mess from a balance squad point of view, but did leave some talent. If that is your point you are right. Al is going to leave more talent for the next coach. He has also done a slightly better job with balance. However, he is as bad and maybe even worse coach than Randy. For me Al should have been fired last year. Our stupid administration got caught by the short hairs with the scandal and pay school money for spokesman to help them out of mess. Randy certainly would not had handled that mess as well as Al. Of course had anyone of those idiot administrator listened to Randy, there would have been no scandal. BUT Randy still sucked as a HC. Looks like Al will get one more year than Randy, but to claim it is racism is a little silly. You claiming race is as stupid as any idiot who is not related to Al, still defending Al. If you didn't see that Randy had to go, you need glasses also. He was as clueless as Al, just in different areas.

Let's not use Al Golden's failure as a man and coach be used as a means to rewrite history about his black counterpart. The only reason why Al isn't canned now is bc he is perceived as smart/competent. THAT is why the Randy comparison is important. Bc it shows that the admin doesn't fire people for record, but for perception.

Who from central should Shannon have gone after? Freeman? Shannon had miller, johnson james and Duke johnson committed. All 3 of those guys are in the NFL. Please list the players from central Shannon missed out on.

Meanwhile golden is missing out on cooper, bridgewater cook from central etc and you wana focus on some guys from central who weren't even need players. Speaking of central how the **** did golden let Charles Gaines get away? Lmao

Wow, the lengths you go to defend a terrible coach.

Even if Miami Central High School does not have anyone you want to offer a scholarship, you still visit the school to maintain a good relationship for when they do have a good recruit. This happened at multiple high schools in South Florida. This isn't anything that is made up, the **** high school coaches talked about it publicly.

Why do you keep bringing up Golden??? I'm not talking about Golden's failures, I'm talking about Shannon's failures in this thread. I'll be glad to discuss all of Golden's faults in another thread.

You are as bad as a Golden supporter. Completely blind to how terrible Shannon was.
 
PAR supported Shannon past his firing. And he immediately hated Golden. He was right about Golden sucking, but it wasn't because of any insight. It's pretty obvious why.

Why do we continue continue to compare a HC in his first gig with an experienced HC? That says a lot right there. RS was a better HC than Golden.

I only defended Shannon when guys like you made dumb claims like he quit in recruiting. Yea, he had his faults but to say he quit at recruiting is the dumbest chit ever and even you've rebutted this claims IN THIS THREAD. Don't act brand new buddy.

When you leave a bunch of NFL caliber players on the roster you are not leaving the cupboard bare. Go on another teams board, present those facts and ask if that's leaving the cupboard and see what kinda response you get.

he left it drunk and naked in a dark alley with a plunger handle stuck up it's ***.

That being said, we currently have a ton of talent, we just have a bunch of idiots running the show.

If drunk, naked in a dark alley means leaving the team with NFL talent on it, then yep.

BTW, tell me about the DT talent we have oozing out of our roster. Or LB talent. Or RB talent.
 
Randy left golden a mess in terms of recruiting, strength and conditioning, etc. Randy didn't leave the cupboard bare for golden but there were holes in the team golden inherited and lots of depth issues. Golden should have won more with the talent he was given in 2011 IMO. 4 years later and the program is in the same exact place it was when Shannon was fired.

Neither golden nor Shannon are qualified to be D1 coaches. Both were/are in over their heads. Golden should be fired just like Shannon was rightly fired.
