Interior guys usually don't get sacks. They push the lineman back into the qbs face, which leads to ints, bad throws, and sacks by others. Donald and Sapp are outliers.

Sarcasm correct? Because vs Temple he was a one man wrecking crew. And he has improved every game this season. I feel like the guy we all thought we were getting has arrived.

I pity teams who have to face him and Deen with Bain Messidor Harvey and Kelly on outside and Kiko and Wes filling gaps. We’re coming together. Just need to get healthy and have our CBs avoid big MEs.

I’ll answer for him. YES, it’s sarcasm. Just the other day, there was someone in here saying that he wasn’t playing good enough “He was a 5 star kid!” I really want that dude understand that a lot of what a good DT does don’t show up on the “stat” sheet. You have to look at the grade. A DT ain’t really supposed to fly upfield and make tackles behind the LOS, all game. His job is to play within the scheme (man his gap, and take on blockers), and to keep his LBs clean, so they can fly around and make the tackles. You show me a really good inside LB…. I’ll show you a really good DT playing in front of him. If the DTs don’t do their jobs, then the ILBs will look like absolute ****.

I had it done. He was coming this last off-season. Beilima antied up for him though. 3 mill.

I got my introduction to him when they played PSU a few weeks ago. I was like, "Who TF is this Newton kid??" WOW. He was a monster in that game. Top 10 pick imo. When the annoucncer said he was from St Pete I couldnt believe Fla schools let him sneak out the state.

LT might have the stats but lets all be real...he hasnt had that "dominant" game as of yet. Every DT in UM history has "that game" where you know they have officially arrived. Good news is we plenty more games left where we will need him to show up and show out. So Im not one of those posters thats in panic mode. Lets use the "Its only been 4 games" for both sides of the coin too. Not just when we are trying to temper enthusiasm. Its only been 4 games. Hes got plenty of time to show out.
