The failure was before Manny was hired. The same failure has brought you the atrocious results over the last 15 years.

There is no failure bringing in the right AD. An AD who is competent, passionate and with autonomy. Let them make the decisions. We've FAILED over the last 15 years. It's time to do it right.

Well, been a dedicated fan over 50 years and haven’t seen such a sad state of affairs in a while. Don’t know the x’s and o’s or spend the season ticket money or know the Admin foibles as much as many here, but the pain (and joy) of Canes Football runs pretty deep. I appreciate all the learned...

I don't have all day to do that.

That's a pipedream here. We don't have the money to make that happen. For better or worse, those who contribute large will get their say on AD decisions. It will get worse as large schools keep pumping out more and more alumni in one year than we do in five to ten. This creates an even bigger pool of donations that give whatever AD the autonomy you would like to see here. Said autonomy comes from not needing to kowtow to the big money men like we do here.

Mentioned it in another thread. Our best shot is luck. That or we get an AD who is brilliant in not only seeing who we should hire, but also selling those names to the people who'll cough up the dough to get it done.
 
What I said the day we hired him was. He had world class athletes at Texas, a one game schedule(OU) and still got assraped on the reg. What on God's green earth made anybody think he could coach, was it because of the bling of the turnover chain. Why in the world would a big-time D1 ever hire a first timer, did they not learn anything with RS. You vant blame Manuel for taking the Damm job, why wouldnt he, the problem is at rhe top. There is no excuse, sitting in the middle of the 305, to be gettin railroaded by bull**** teams like we have for 20 year's. The last time this team was a legit threat was the last of Butch's recruits and that was forever ago
 
No Fire (in order) Blake James, anyone else associated with the FB team including Manny. Start over. This is the time to do it
 
If the problems with the program go above Flakey's head, then so be it. But several on here are 100 when saying the fanbase should put forth our "efforts" into promoting a Flake firing and ignoring the minutia of Manuela's transgressions. Flake has an agenda that conflicts with putting out a winning program. Let the BoT hire another AD... hopefully we fall *** backwards into someone worth their own shirt.
