Better hope they realize their mistake and own it. If even one of the other big players coughs up the coin, there were a few who didn't want Manny, very few though, you've still got a problem on your hands. You'd basically be alienating a lot of our donor base that way.

So essentially, we're screwed. Wouldn't surprise me if they tried to scapegoat Blake though. Pretty typical of most people with collosal bank accounts as the problem is never them.

Would seem so. I mean, who hired that guy and has let this go on,and on, and on, for 20 years.
 
They both need to go. The ENTIRE athletic department needs to be changed over. Sunk a ton of money into basketball, then let our baseball and football programs die. Let the OB go, no legit plan. What if the Phins didn’t feel like having us there? We’d legit have no place to play. It’s a ******* disgrace.

But if we fire Blake, Manny needs to be fired with him. I don’t care that no coach gets fired after season 1. First time for everything and it’s Bout time we are ahead of the ******* curve for once.
 
It everything falls on Blakes plate and he needs to be fired. Many needs to be fired as well. This team has gone backwards in all phases of the game. It is a total embarrassment. The team isn't prepared, lost to a garbage vtech team and the worse team in Gtech. Many needs to take his fake a#@ chaims and the the f out of town and take Blake with him. Can't wait to watch the next home game with only 10K people. Than the excuses will be that we played the last 4 games away. Fire everyone
 
Manny did hire a "cutting edge" offensive coordinator though. Props on that.

  • Richt retires, Blake panics and rushes to hire Diaz dishing out 4 Million to Temple to do so.

Whats next? Another extension if we win these next 5 games and make a quick lane bowl?

Imagine believing that if Blake James was fired tonight his replacement would be remotely inclined to keep Manny and pass up the opportunity to bring in his own guy... Elite strains of cannabus are being smoked somewhere in the world tonight.

Yes Blake is the problem but I can guarantee you we don't have to worry about winning out.

How are loses to VT and G Tech inexcusable when they have won the coastal more times than us since 2004. We have one coastal win since 2004.

Ever thought that Blake, Manny and everyone around them need to go? This either or situation is nonsense. The ONLY way this gets better is if the people with the power to make change(The BOT) is shamed into doing what is right. Miami needs an entirely new athletic department administration. That AD needs to have the power to make wholesale changes in how the department is managed, and get people that are dedicated to actually putting a good product on the field. Miami can and should be better than this. Period. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to be better than a 1-5 Georgia Tech. It doesn't. It takes mere competence.
