Problems are beyond Manny Diaz!

It's our Athletic Department and you have to admit it!
When you have the same guy hiring all these coaches and throwing money down the drain which is killing this football program.
I get that Blake James has improved our facilities and overall donations but at what price? What does 3 or 4 rights do when your getting
the most important thing wrong everytime? Is it not evident? if not please prove me wrong.

Blake James Tenure

  • Buys out Al Golden to Hire Mark Richt.
  • Extends Mark Richt prematurely.
  • Richt retires, Blake panics and rushes to hire Diaz dishing out 4 Million to Temple to do so.

Whats next? Another extension if we win these next 5 games and make a quick lane bowl?

The root of the problem isn't Manny Diaz it's at the top. Get rid of Blake James

You are an idiot, if you don’t think the continued poor play and under performing in all 3 phases is on the coaching staff... then you are probably the type of guy when your wife cheats on you, you start to think what you did wrong

GaTech is a dogs!t team and this loss echos the garbage we put on the field against CMU

The bad news, you're going to need some large handouts from the same guys who funded Diaz (their choice) being hired in the first place.

Better hope they realize their mistake and own it. If even one of the other big players coughs up the coin, there were a few who didn't want Manny, very few though, you've still got a problem on your hands. You'd basically be alienating a lot of our donor base that way.

So essentially, we're screwed. Wouldn't surprise me if they tried to scapegoat Blake though. Pretty typical of most people with collosal bank accounts as the problem is never them.

Just don't expect Manny gone year one. Setting yourselves up for failure that way.
 
I agree that it’s the athletic department they are the ones that hired Manny over the others and hired Rick over Dan Mullen. So clean house from top to bottom Manny isn’t the answer here and it doesn’t take 3 years to figure that one out.

To delay the inevitable means fans are pandering to Jake Blames who is utterly hopeless at this point.

Manny could resign tomorrow and decline the remainder of his contract, and I would still expect that James's first call would be to Greg Schiano. Sadly, that would still be a massive upgrade over what we have now.
 
Blake James may not be a good AD but this is Diaz’s team. My main gripe with this team is that it hasn’t not improved since the season started. I get the UF and UNC ( because howell is legit) loses but VT and today are inexcusable

You sound like you really know what you’re talking about. I agree with most of what you say. So what in your mind is realistic? There’s no way he can salvage this thing after it goes just as bad next season right? What happens if the world turns on its axis and Urban calls to say he wants the job?
