But listen to the one reason Jimmy Johnson gave three decades ago on why it was a great job: "I fall out of bed in the best recruiting area in America."
Or Dennis Erickson two decades ago: "I drive up and down I-95 to recruit the best players in the country."
Or Butch Davis just over a decade ago: "You can't drive by a football field in South Florida without seeing a top recruit."
No matter how much they bash our facilities, we are still one of the best jobs in the nation. Please we need to stop aiming so low for the Cristobals and Schianos. We can get a coach that is already a proven winner. No more short cuts or cheap ways out, we need a game changer.
