Many posters here exhibiting classic signs Stockholm Syndrome.

A stubborn a$$ former HC, hired his son and wife... and a bunch of latchkeys... wouldn't make any changes for the betterment of the program... finally resigned after wasting another year just like Folden before him...

... and some of you sucking up to him like abused wives..

Richt brought this on himself and he walked ... forced retired... because he wouldn't give up playcalling after monumental failure for 3 seasons or fire his son.. and you guys think he is Joan of Arc ..

"after wasting another year"? You're saying he should have quit prior to 2018 after he had us 10-0 and #2 in the nation at one point that season? Yeah, that makes a ton of sense. "monumental failure for 3 seasons"? This year was a trainwreck, neither 2017 or 2016 were at all. He hit bottom in 2018, couldn't do it, and has now stepped aside. Your remarks are dumb as ****.

Like it or not, the new HC has to be an A-hole. The 2 HCs that are in the Championship game are A-holes. They get on their players for doing stupid stuff during the game. I would love to see us with a jerk for a HC.

You are a slurping id1ot yourself... yes, he should have quit playcalling 2 years ago, when he was exposed as a non_OC.. after they fired him for exactly that reason at UGa..

...one would think he would see the obvious.

Agree with this to some extent. One of the greatest challenges the new HC is going to have is to root out the diva culture that exists in our lockerroom right now, particularly with the underclassmen.

No... We don't have Stockholm syndrome, we're just thankful that a HC who had ALL the leverage and power to put us in a deep, deep hole let us walk away from the situation scott free.

If Richt really wanted to be a d*ck about it and if he was really forced out we would heard about some sort of buy-out money because he had at least 20+ Million incoming.

Now we basically have money that was suppose to go to Richt for about 4 years just laying around to spend on a upgrade, hopefully.

He would have to coach without his son and yes_men.... he made the choice that he didn't want to...

Last night Saban told a player "what the "F" are you doing. We had that with Jimmy. This is going to be a big hire. Some people on this board will love it and some will hate it.

Do you want the alternative of him staying taking 4 million a year for the next few years with everyone, including himself, knowing he wouldn't get us to Clemson's level?

Oh, what about forcing UM to fire him and collecting 25+ Million from a traditional cheap University on the way out? Because guess what, that is what 99.9% of coaches do.

We didn't have to fire him.... we can most certainly fire the rest of the OC staff and he would either have to live with that or leave.... he chose to leave.
