I really don't know why we aren't taking advantage of having 2 of the best TE's in the country, on the field at the same time. With those 2 TE's, not only should that be effective in the pass game, but also the outside run game. With 2 beasts like Brevin and Will, why don't we have that double TE look on the regular? If Lashlee did that, our O numbers would absolutely go up dramatically!

OP missed the game. They played a ton of two TE sets. They don’t usually play them both inline. One guy will line up at tight end and the other guy will often be in the slot or split wide. They do have a couple formations that use an inline tight end and an H-back but they don’t use those formations often because putting all your offensive players in one small general area of the field is the exact opposite of what a SPREAD offense does.

Could say this for any offense though.

Very true, I was just making the point as the OP was asking for more 2 TE packages, but I don't think you'll see them fully utilized as long as the line is playing like hot garbage.

It's not so much the sets that bother me, it's their lack of targets. VT had no one to cover Mallory and Jordan, yet they were targeted a combined 5 or 6 times. That's not nearly enough.
