Why did Atlanta let him go if he had success there?

Good question.

Might be that their idiot head coach needed a scapegoat, among several.

Or he could have been drunk 24/7...I tend to think it’s the former.

The guy would make a great OC as long as he’s conscious. I don’t doubt it for a minute.

Would be an immediate upgrade over moribund-Richt, so there is that. Worth an interview perhaps in my opinion. The simple-minded trope that somehow "South Beach" poses this kyrptonite-like salve for anyone who likes a bit of drink or adulterant is silly and likely put forth by those who have traveled little in their lives or never chased the White Dragon themselves. You can get a party going anywhere or anyplace, most people find South Beach cliche and full of amateur libertines engorging themselves on the image of the place, not the reality. Perhaps there are many reasons to pass on the Sark, but but pushing the simple-minded narrative that Miami is any more apt to feed the void of a ravaged-soulless night ghoul in search of his/her passivity-venom is trite and Precambrian.

Because I don’t feel like the research... which season was it that makes you think WOW this guy is a great OC?
