Steele and Manny

The real question is would Penn St lose to MTSU? :duke-uni2:
The real question is whether the program would be in better hands this year and moving forward with Manny or Mario.
Considering that Lashlee was leaving, I predict that Manny would have been a much, much bigger disaster this year than Mario has been (small disaster), and the recruiting would never have matched what Mario will bring in, even if Manny had been given the same facilities upgrade, new AD and NIL budget.

Best way to see this, is that Manny, in the rear view mirror, is a known quantity. Mario is still the cake in the oven. All we know is the ingredients that went into the cake. The aroma is so good, we keep checking it with a toothpick to see if it’s done. Nothing but disappointment with that approach, and making us turn on each other.

Defensive line has exceeded all expectations. Linebacker has been drastically improved. DB play has been lacking
Idk Ivey and Couch have been better this year. In previous years, they have been nothing but a disaster. Stevenson has his ups and downs, but he is always making plays. Also, Young guys like Dunson, Graves, Rodgers and Curtis have been impresive in practice. Coming into the season, we all knew the corners where going to be one of the weaknesses of the team. Next year, the new guys will be nice depth to Mcclain, jackson and maybe a few portal guys

Make no mistake. Manny will stay afloat off the back of James franklins recruiting. There’s talent on that team. Plus Franklin can rein him in and save him from himself. But at the end of the day his defense has been exposed a lot. Even against taint which was an admirable effort there was a conversion that taint got that reminded me of 4th and 17 against unc. Eerily similar

I called that literally a few plays before it happened. I said to my buddy, “there will be a 3rd and 10+ conversion at some point this drive that will seal the game” and literally happened minutes later.

Like clockwork manny.

Sadly, of that list, I see several that would be chosen before Gattis.
