Just summarizing what I am seeing on Social Media:
Pretty surprising that he is so loved.

- Colorado State Strength of Schedule Averaged 93 the last 3 years.
- Under Jim Mcelwain Colorado State NEVER beat a 8 win team, and only beat two 7 win teams.
- Muschamp has a win percentage of .571 in the SEC, Mcelwain had .578 with horrible schedule
- Jim did not recruit , Greg McElroy
- He recruited AJ Mccaron, who was from Mobile Alabama...
- After Jim left Alabama, Mccaron broke multiple Alabama passing records and went 12-0 winning a NC.
- He didnt recruit his QB at Colorado State

I don't really like the hire myself.

it's as unproven as al golden's resume really

so you went and turn around a crap program in a crap region over a few years.. big deal, what decent coach couldn't?

I'm aware he did better than golden but you get the gist

They hired AG 2.0 IMO. But he's probably a better fit for FL than AG's B1G philosophy at Miami.

Problem is he will have the support behind him to hire a strong staff. And he doesn't have a Coach no D attached to his hip either. Golden has tied himself down to below average coaches lie No D, Uncle Jethro and Paul Williams.
