Last night's game is Al Golden's ceiling. Just wait for next year. Some have to learn the hard way, but so be it. Yeah we'll beat the ****** teams, but play a real team and we ain't winning ****. We will never ever win a championship with Golden at the helm. Bookmark this thread and bump it again next year when we are 3 losses in.

No Duke, Denzel, etc. for Golden to hide behind. Next year is when the real pain begins.

The we are young and don't have depth excuse will be used aplenty next year when we fail again.

If Miami wins out strongly like they should and wins the bowl game, you have to be optimistic about the future. This team has grown all season long and almost pulled it off last night. Just a few plays weren't made when the guys were in position. I believe if the team improves through the end of the year and carries it into the offseason, we'll definitely be in the ACC championship game finally.

"Could or should have Coley expected the Hurricanes star runner to cramp up in the 2nd half, making the game plan less effective?"

Then as a coach you adjust!!!! You don't shut down attacking altogether because one man has the cramps!

Has anybody cared to look at who were losing on defense this year and who will be filling those spots next season. It will be 2012 and 2013 when we had to out score every opponent.

If you don't understand time out use, time management, and use of replay challenges after a lifetime of football and 9 years as a head coach, you'll never understand it.

We are ****ed next year, we lose:
Both qb beside kaaya that have taken a college snap
The best rb we have had in a decade
The most explosive wr from a ypc standpoint in the country
Our Mackey award semi finalist te.
Three starters off the o line
Two starters from a ****** d line
Our two most productive linebackers
Our only big cb
Since the coaches think fen tress is legit, I'll say our all walk on team all American safety.

We going .500.

IT ISN'T JUST ONE MAN **** IT...IT'S ZORRO!!!!!!

We're in deep **** next year. Having Golden back will only compound the problem since he's a coRch who gets less from more and not the other way around. He's a poor man's Larry Coker.

Next year, Golden will fail to win the Coastal again. His supporters still won't care.

Beating UVA and Pitt and a ****** Bowl opponent is not winning out strongly. That ship sailed last night.

This is my concern exactly. Like Magahee2thehouse stated - we lose a lot of talent. We lose the core of our team with Perryman and Duke. I do have a lil hope though with the stable of running backs and Shaq Q coming in as replacements. Tough to replace seasoned veterans though with true froshman. Grace seems to be stepping up. Bush looked decent. I don't see Yearby being close to Duke though - and I think part of the reason Kayya has had a somewhat good freshman year is because of the threat of Duke. The freshman coming in better be ready to play.
