The American Heritage defense was out coached by the Ponte Vedra offense. AH DB's with the exception of Tyson Campbell didn't really impress me. They lacked aggression and have questionable speed in my opinion. Maybe as individuals, Surtain II/Marco, are good players, but I question their speed because they trailing receivers all game.

IMO the AH OL is their strength and should be a lot better. Tedarrell Slaton will be a beast. That natural strength power mass that moves anything in front of him. He just needs to play with more aggression and "stay" on his blocks. With training and technique improvements he would be a starting guard "easily". Didn't really notice much from Hebert, but that's not saying he's not good, just that Slaton was just that noticeable.

The STA DB's IMO are better. The Samuels kid is probably the best of the SOFl CB's, but Al Blades is right there too. Trenell Troutman is no joke! Kid is aggressive and can cover. A definite take over Marco IMO without hesitation. If we can get the following with the current 2018 (Jobe CB/S ?, Ivey CB, Frierson S):

1. Blades CB (Samuels would be here, but why. fsu legacy)
2. Tyson Campbell S
3. Trenell Troutman CB
4. Pat Surtain S (Big kid. Doesn't have CB speed IMO)

Asante is a UCF legacy, and he is throwing up the U behind Harley, get Harley and blades then add asante and get that sta pipeline started.

In addition to the 4 DB's from 2018, Miami's staff needs to hold onto to this young man.

It amazes me with how many times this has been corrected people are still getting it wrong.

Great! I get him and that fsu legacy mixed up. That kid has Cane written all over him. ***** size, he is an aggressive lock down type. I love me some Bandy, but if I had to rank them he's ahead. I had heard Troutman's name tossed around, but never saw him play. Let the gates have all the Wilson's they want, Troutman is much better.

If they spent more time focusing and less time dancing in between plays they might be more consistent. Overall they were underwhelming IMO. They out-weighed PV's front by like 2,394 pounds. They got beat too much in pass-pro, they caught a couple holding calls and they loafed during plays.

they are still doing that? Geez AH coaches are pu$$ies, cause I would take dude out the game for that sh*t.

I was turned off last year by Herbert and that sh*t...I swear dude did a whole dance routine last year.....DURING a play. No jokes...all out dance routine as the runner broke free....then on the sidelines it was a scene from GREASE with him..i admit it was a blow out game..but that's not the make up of offensive lineman I'm use to...I played ol and I'm a certified clown...but ive never danced during a play or just ALL game think of dancing. Slaton was a bt more nasty than Herbert but he clowns to..i don't know who coaches ol there at Heritage though.

Macho I told you about Chatfield the de last year I think his family member post on here...dude can play...he can play with hand in the ground or olb...but i'd beef him up and let him loose...good get off and probably weighs close to 230 right now.

It's one of the few things Golden did right in his tenure. Improved the STA relationship. With Saint Richt at helm, have to believe it only gets stronger. Need to hold on to, and keep building ties with other Florida and national powerhouse christian/catholic schools like Don Bosco, too.
