JMHO

CB Young - Bandy - Wright
SS Johnson - Finley - Smith
FS Redwine - Carter - James
CB Dean - Jackson - Mayes

I think our front 7 will help these guys out alot. Also wouldnt be surprised to see another grad transfer DB at some point.

Holy ****.

That's terrible.

Safety = Yikes.

Shocking. It's Groundhog Day again. Should just cut and past the doomsday preseason threads from last year regarding our purportedly horrific secondary. And lulz at calling a starting unit with Johnson terrible. Dude is legit.

This board is in love with Redwine going to safety, but I've never seen a coach or staff member mention anything about it

To me it's about getting the best guys on the field.

Young, Dean, Bandy, Jackson should be able to hold it down at CB.

Redwine, Jaquan can also drop down and cover.

Finley, Carter, Wright, James, Smith, Knowles..they'll all be competing.

I think we're going to be ok.

Redwine and Young at cb
Jaquan and Romeo at Safety

We have no issues at secondary next year, beast mode.

I buy this. Diaz wants guys out there that tackle well, which even outstanding freshman struggle with. Dean has some higher level experience, but I believe he is said to be a reluctant tackler. Much like Malek last year, if they get physically comfortable halfway through the year, they'll earn reps.

Man everyone here overrates Jaquan.

He's a nice at the extra DB role but he lacks the range and size to be a full time starter, Imo.
