What are your early predictions?

Anyone get word of how Finley's looked in practice?

Seems like we may have some options at strong safety with Finley, carter and Gibson.

Free safety is j. Johnson and then ??????

Why does everyone think Redwine would be a good safety?

If he's not fast and not an amazing tackler at CB, maybe he's just a depth player.

James may be an option at FS - looking forward to seeing him at Spring game. He was very green in high school but had a huge senior season. He had a bunch of pics that season.

Jaquan isn't really a prototypical free safety. He could work hard and do it, but so far he's been used much closer to the line of scrimmage, either as an in-box thumper or a nickel. Carter and Gibson have also been hitters rather than center-fielders in high school. Heard somebody talking about Finley moving to linebacker like it was a confirmed fact. Not sure about that, but he's also definitely a strong safety rather than free.

Doesn't leave us with many legit options for the other spot, which might mean Jaquan will end up there out of necessity. That's why Collier and Edwards are so interesting to me. Both could definitely play free (although hopefully we have better options for next season).

This.

I never hear his name but he was logging time this year and next up on the second unit. But Knowles might end up being a Starter there. Like already said Jaquan is more of a nickel player..and they seem comfortable with him there. Redwine isn't a safety..he's likely our starting cb next year

Redwine is too slow to be a corner. He is Randy Phillips, part 2. He wouldn't even be good depth at CB. We need to get faster in the secondary, and playing guys like Redwine at CB is not going to help.
