I’m not even comfortable rolling bell out there to protect ward against usf.
Rewatched and besides not getting far enough outside the 1 time against a corner blitz he pretty much locked down his side every other play. Once he gets his hands on you it's over. He needs work but wasn't nearly as rough as you guys made is out to be.

Eh that was Famu he got his reps you got ball st next if you want to keep resting rivers go for it. From usf on I just want only rivers out there.

Oh yea he's not ready for the top comp yet but the potential is there. I'm not sure what they'd do against a better opponent if Rivers went down. This was a perfect opportunity to throw him into the fire and it was really great experience.

Oh I’m not arguing that. I agree. The raw tools he has is insane.

hopefully we put average ACC teams away early, and these guys get reps vs better comp to get better prepared, that's what powerhouse programs do, we haven't been there in 20+ years
Honestly I did like how we incorporated players with the ones last game I can’t remember the last time I’ve seen that here

One thing I did notice is that they just threw him into the fire. No chipping, no helping, sliding TEs over.. none of the stuff you'd typically see with a brand new LT taking his first snaps. We ran the offense just like Rivers was in there. That has to be a confidence boost. And he's going against the best DE rotation in the county every day in practice. I think he's gonna be fine but yes ideally in spot and mop up duty when Rivers is back.
