Wow neb is starting a true freshman in front of 90000. I can bet you frost playbook is a bit more complicated than richt playbook

UCLA started Brevins HS QB....there’s a lot of TF and RF starting around the country.MR just won start ours...

Neither one of those teams had realistic playoff visions this year. At least we did. They're just bailing on this year.

Everyone knew Malik was starting week 1, my hope was he would be decent and we would win. He wasn’t, he was terrible. Now is the time to make a change.

TF starting isn't a new-ish trend. It's been happening more the last few years (and this is not calculating 5 star QBs like Winston at FSU).

It's Richt's nature to always go with more experience under center (despite flaws and less talent).

Richt needs to get with the times.

WF true freshman has over 600 yards passing in 2 games. One could say they have not played a team with a pulse yet .

Richt has no balls

And if the Freshman QB sucks or the offense sucks it’s his fault.. right now he can place the blame on Rosier

Richt is to old school. He thinks QBs need to be a junior to start.

Also that Nebraska team looks well coached. I watched a couple Nebraska games last year and they were so bad and soft but suddenly they look fast and stronger.

N'kosi and Cade are redshirt freshman though. If our coaches are still reluctant to start a guy who's been in their system for more than a year because they feel he doesn't have a firm enough grasp of the system then what does that say about their ability to develop them?

Adrian Martinez looks really good. Who was touting this kid last year? I think it was Liberty. We should just let him pick who we recruit at QB.

UCLA got blown out and Nebraska is tied with Colorado

But they started true freshmen so their coaches are elite! (Nebraska’s senior QB graduated last season btw)

Martinez got hurt. Backup left the team when he didn't get the starting job leaving only walk ons. Haven't seen any prognosis on Martinez as far as injury or return but it certainly presents a problem for Nebraska
