Stanford?

I find it funny that the off season hype has been we will win the National Championship and then the heavily favored points against Stanford yet after Stanford plays a horribble Hawaii team the we are great posts seem to be tapering off so those hyping our potential will have a cover if Stanford gets lucky plus if its close their defense held powerful Hawaii to 99 total yards. Well its known I don't rate our potential on scores...just win be it 1 point or 50, winning is the only real measure of success. Remember in 2001 the greatest team ever played Boston College and was doomed to lose, BC ball little time left and a last second FG or TD would ice the game for BC, oh... we were in big trouble with no way out EXCEPT BC stupidly threw the bal, tipped ball, Interception, Reed rips it away from our lineman rushes for a TD and it looks like we dominated instead of losing or if blocked the FG or stopped the TD instead we won by more then 1 TD. So tomorrow is important BUT only if we WIN!

i think its very reasonable to expect a sloppy start playing against someone on the road that has a game under the belt already. i dont want to see this crap again with the scheduling.

FYI —-Bc was down 5 with like 15 seconds left so their pass tactic wasn’t stupid. Running it would have been stupid. Field goal wasn’t relevant.

17 ACC teams and somehow we’ve already been to the west coast 2x and SMU 1x in their first 3 years in the conference.

I think the Stanford trip is great. We’ve knocked smu, cal and Stanford away games off our schedule for a good while.

This opener allows us to control our timing by arriving very early. Way easier than mid season.
