Frank "Third" Reich (as the late WIOD radio host Neil Rogers used to call him) was Jim Kelley's backup at Buffalo during the years when the Bills were waxing the Dolphins during the Marino years.

There's all sorts of Bad Medicine surrounding this game. I don't like the spread. I don't like the fact that their luck held against the Troles. I don't like the fact that our players could be taking this game lightly Because Meh Stanford.

Did I mention that the Spread is comically big?

I recall there were a lot of holdovers (who may have been ****ed they were passed over for HC role) from Schnellenberger's staff that JJ was forced to keep around. They did not exactly mesh with this brash upstart who they considered an "outsider".

I never understood what Howard or Shula saw in him. Both coached with Arnsparger and knew what a real DC looked like.
