Stanford @ Miami -29.5

Miami has trouble scoring 30 against anyone.
They’ll beat Stanford by about 14pts, then they will start beating their chests and feeling themselves again, getting high off their own farts, and inevitably dropped by SMU the following week.
Rinse and repeat. This is the cycle of Miami Hurricanes football.
No consistency, over rated and over hyped.
And your supposedly a Miami fan, oh..ok

Does being a fan mean you have to believe we will beat everyone by 50? I’m confused? If that’s his opinion, based on what the Miami Hurricanes have actually shown us every single year for the better part of 25 years (just underwhelming in general), then what’s the problem? Are we supposed to just ignore that because we are fans?

The spread is 29.5, not 50.

Miami can cover 30 if Beck responds with a solid game and the Canes have a few explosive passing scoring plays. Stanford will cover if Beck is off his game and the Canes run the ball to death and take time scoring. Unless the backs manage some long runs, maybe from Lyle.

I don't see Stanford scoring more than 10. Louisville scored 10 points after Beck's implosion and none of his interceptions.
pedal to the metal lets score 60, Cignetti would

Okay, I'm just curious. To anyone saying we beat the spread, what have you seen this year to convince you that we will? I'm not saying we don't have the team for it, but I haven't seen anything indicating our coaches calling the plays will do anything to facilitate it. What makes you think we beat them by more than 30?

How about the fact that the only two games we haven’t covered in are Louisville and Bethune….

So we aren’t invincible ATP? It’s not a foreign incomprehensible concept to say that we won’t cover a 30 point spread when we haven’t scored 30 all year vs a p4 opponent? What am I missing?

Looked quickly but I don’t think Mario has a 30 point P5 win since coming to Miami and I can only find 4 in his entire career. Pardon me for taking the points here

It is shocking how many people are coming in here with "P4!!!!". Guys, do you know that Boston College is P4, and South Florida isn't? Any idea at all?
