Stanford @ Miami -29.5

Miami can cover 30 if Beck responds with a solid game and the Canes have a few explosive passing scoring plays. Stanford will cover if Beck is off his game and the Canes run the ball to death and take time scoring. Unless the backs manage some long runs, maybe from Lyle.

I don't see Stanford scoring more than 10. Louisville scored 10 points after Beck's implosion and none of his interceptions.

Miami has trouble scoring 30 against anyone.
They’ll beat Stanford by about 14pts, then they will start beating their chests and feeling themselves again, getting high off their own farts, and inevitably dropped by SMU the following week.
Rinse and repeat. This is the cycle of Miami Hurricanes football.
No consistency, over rated and over hyped.

Def won’t cover, 17-21 point victory. As many have said, not even sure we can score 30 points against a P4 opponent right now. We’ll come out flat and feeling sorry for themselves. It’s gonna be a real stinker. Thankfully its a night game cause if this was noon we might have to stress it out a little longer than we’d like.

I welcome everyone in here who is sooooo confident in Stanford covering to post their bet slips. Put up or shut up.

And if it’s truly “free money,” then I’m assuming you guys are betting more than 10-20 bucks, right? Only makes sense. I eagerly await your slips.

Line has moved to 30.5 (ESPN). Time to move on from Fridays nightmare. Great opportunity to bounce back and build some momentum.

From what I saw, Stanford QB and RG were carted off before half. Back QB is a freshman (true?). Maybe the starting RB got banged

Take Stanford to beat the spread. We'll stop playing the moment we go up by 2 scores.
You are 100% correct my friend

What’s our record when having a double digit spread?

I’ll tell ya. It’s not great Bob.

Expect a rock fight

Predictable we have the usual characters predicting we’ll be lucky to eke out a victory. That said, the game will be telling. You’re never as good as your best game, or as bad as your worst. The team will clearly be ready to play Stanford, which was not the case against Louisville. In the first 5 games we saw how good this team can be when they were ready.
