Stanford Game Time **9:00 KICK**

Clearly I was correct all along. Correct and consistent.

I never whined about a west coast "dinner time" kickoff like @cookies did. I never invented Stanford students with Friday afternoon classes like @cookies did. I never complained about Stanford alums having difficulty making the kickoff time like @cookies did. I never worried about the refs being able to make it to the game on time due to Friday afternoon rush hour in the Bay area like @cookies did. I never hypothesized about the impact of the US Open tennis tournament like @cookies did.

And I certainly didn't care about some completely different post @cookies made, that one time at band camp, where he mentioned the possibility of an early kickoff time. I was only responding to, and mocking, his sincere concerns about a west coast "dinner time" kickoff, and the Stanford students, and the Stanford boosters, and the ACC refs, and the US Open.

And, obviously, we now have a west coast "dinner time" kickoff. **** the Stanford students. **** the Stanford boosters. **** the ACC refs. And **** the US Open.

Official.

You good lol

And yeup that’s my logic when i presume the discussions being had between ESPN and Stanford.

I agree 10 pm on a Friday is insane. I had to recheck when the cal kickoff was and it was 10:30 which is also crazy.

I’m about to give you some terrible news brother. I just searched the 2024 ACC schedule & on August 30th, FRIDAY, 2024, TCU visited Stanford; and the pickleball game must’ve started at 8pm because that game started at 10:30 on ESPN lol.

TCU obviously isn’t in our time zone so maybe they felt it was appropriate to keep it that late.

More research by cookies & crew found that last year when GT visited Colorado, ESPN started that Friday Night Game at 8PM EST, which is 6PM mountain timezone.

So i need to revise my estimation from 830 to 9 PM at the earliest. I don’t think they’ll start later than 9:30 tho.

both will do numbers. I just keep going back to recent history…I couldn’t find any examples of a west coast team starting a Friday night home game in the 430 to 530 range in their local time.

I don’t expect them to switch-up the formula now. At best i could see my first guess of 830/ at worst 930; i don’t expect them to go too late with a 1000 or 1030 start. Split the difference and i get to 9pm est start
