I'm not sure why there is this much debate on such a simple subject (not talking about you in particular, just all of the posts).

Sylvester Stallone is an alum of UM. Legitimately. He COMPLETED his Bachelor's degree in 1999 by using his filmwork to complete his final few remaining credits. Kinda like an internship or directed study credits.

An honorary degree is one awarded to someone who has not attended the university or completed coursework at the university.

Stallone's degree is real, if unorthodox (in its completion).

Basically he did the same chit, Spielberg did at my alma mater, Long Beach State. Literally Spielberg graduated 3 yrs after Stallone, using the same method, so wondering if they compared notes. Lol.

I don't know man... he's at a PhD level of surviving shots to the nuts. There's some Nobel Prize winning humanities research in there somewhere.

Pretty amazing 2 of the biggest action movie stars are UM grads. - Johnson and Stallone.

I get what you are saying but the Rock is terrible and isn't in the same stratosphere as Stallone. I may be missing 1 but any movie Rock has been in is horrible.
