Funny not so funny thing is most of the turnover will probably come from D side of the ball when Manny gets a head coaching job and will take Banda and Patke with him.

I have a feeling Searals will leave on his own, don’t think Miami is his style, more of a SEC or Carolina type of vibe

Without Diaz, Richt will have Golden results. Richt SHOULD have 1 more year. HAS to hire an OC after the season. If theres not significant improvement next year Diaz should be named the coach.

Been thinking about the concept of staff stability.
I have come to the conclusion that it’s one of the most overrated concepts thrown around by coaches.
Just pure BS.
Sure if we have an amazing staff that is full of amazing coaches it might be a concept worth discussing but what’s so great about staff continuity when coaches are not doing a good job.
That concept is just thrown around by coaches that are more loyal to the friends they have on the staff than to winning.
I want a competent HC that will do a no BS evaluation of each of his coaches every offseason...and if a coaches position group is not performing or he is not recruiting he replaces him.
I would also add that you want a staff that people come after and full of guys that are coveted. That means they are doing a good job.

Wait a second! After the LSU game, DIaz should have been replaced, now he should be the head coach?

We need Dugans and Hartley to stay
I like Ace recruiters as much as the next guy, but we could probably sustain a loss like Dugs or Hartley. Dugs because its Miami and there are just a ton of WR studs in the area and Hartley because we can find better on the field STs. Plus Miami has the reputation as TEU, so the new guy would get at least a bit of that shine in recruiting. I wouldnt care if Brown left and Richt recruited and trained RBs w/ Dugs and his kid so we could get a real OC/QB coach like Jedd Fisch or as some have suggested the Briles kid.

It's a shame because the only way we'll get an offensive coordinator(and Special Teams) is firing somebody n the staff to do so. The fire-able candidates right now are Searels and Jon Richt. (You can make an argument for Patke but the defense isn't the problem). Obviously Mark isn't gonna fire his son so that would leave Searels. But we would have to get a new oline coach so that still wouldn't make room fr an OC unless they take control of the Oline themselves like manny with the LBs. It sucks that we have single position coaches like Banda/ Rumph and then Patke for the striker. Makes for less room to hire positions of need.
