Staff Member With The Most To Prove in 2017

The staff member with the most to prove is absolutely Mark Richt. Not just for his offense but for the entire state of the program. So far, he's aced a lot of the criteria in getting Miami turned around a heading in the right direction, now his next step is to prove he's not just the best coach that's never won a title. He's made it clear he didn't come to Miami to retire. He wants to show that he's not just a 10 win guy and his issues at Georgia were more to do with them than him. He has to make Miami a contender again or this whole thing is a failure. He's got the drive and the motivation. He's making the right moves in recruiting the pieces he needs. He's brought in the assistants he wants. Now we have to see if he can put the whole thing together.
