Attention all you construction experts, engineering laureates, people with friends that work on it, crane operators, slow drive by geniuses, etc. There are a bunch of you that assured the readers here that there was absolutely NO WAY it would be ready.

Please come to the front. Explain now how a month away, this won't be ready.

They didn't order enough sod for the end zones and it may take up to 3 weeks for the next shipment to come in at Home Depot. It'll be ready by FAU, but FAMU may be played at Traz.

I drove by the stadium real slow today (to the annoyance of many) and YES the stadium will be ready by game day!!

For the record, my inside sauce crane operator told me the stadium would be open for FAMU but they would still have a few finishing touches to do before FAU.

I drove by on Google Maps and I swear, it'll never be ready in time.

Can't lie, I was one of the engineering experts and I'm sure Ross had to slip some extra money into the foreman's pockets b/c they literally turned on the construction jets to get to this point. Annnnd, I will also admit that I wasn't feeling the stadium, however, this does look real good and a lot better than before....now I see why Richt was so adamant about defending playing in this stadium.

Just one thing, rather than tarp of that one section, I would love to see giant Miami banners hang from the rafters covering that area.
