Stadium will be ready for Canes opener according to...

Drove by the stadium this week-as slow as I could without upsetting those behind me--and well, all I can say is ,it is far from done.

Clean up alone looks like it will take at least a week, so they need to be done way before the first game.

$1B wouldn't have fixed the OB...sadly...time just passed the stadium by...and the University didnt have $$$$ muscle to put something up in its place...

If they can just work out a few.more kinks in gameday experience...NSLS would be(is going to be) a world class expereince....

Looking at the Coliseum in Los Angeles and comparing that to the OB, I'm pretty certain $1B would've been more than enough to renovate the OB. It's only taking (and I'm using "only" in context to your post) $400m to renovate SLS and SLS is bigger than the OB. The Coliseum is just as old as the OB and Los Angeles County's taxes are much more than Dade County simply b/c LA has State Tax.

It's a dead horse, but let's keep it 100; Shalala could care less about our football program. The OB was sacrificed for her baby; the medical center which wasn't even run properly under her watch. Shalala was the worst President this school ever had and I remember when several posters posted once she's gone, we'll see Miami get back to winning. Look at Blake James now v. Blake James under Shalala. If Shalala was still here, Golden would still be here. Fact!

The irony of people knowing the defensive coordinator but not the circumstances surrounding the OB...

$1B can fix anything.

All they had to do was fix the bathrooms. Okay, maybe build an entirely new lattice structure ....

That settles it. This dude drove by slowly and is giving us the final verdict.

I'm driving by even slower later today. Stay tuned for my take.

You might want to gather the family around.

Just make it easy for yourself by pulling over to the side of the road and giving us your professional opinion after having seen about one-fifth of the parking lot and an obstructed view of a small part of the roof, and zero percent of the inside.

After you drive by even slower than novacane I'm going crawl by like a caterpillar. I'll have the best analysis.

I am going to walk there and slowly walk around the stadium while pausing every three feet to take notes on each facet of the project. I will give a definitive, detailed two sentence summary of the state of the project.

Record it so you can watch the film after. Don't give any assumptions until you watch the film.

Didn't the new cowboys stadium cost 1B to be build? 1B wouldn't have fix a current stafium? Lmfao how...doesnt make sense lol

1 billion would've made the OB a state of the art stadium. Heck, for a billion they could have torn it down and built a top 5 stadium in ANY football league.

I think there was some sarcasm involved that got overlooked.
