Stacy Coley out Saturday

Looking at Dorsett's career numbers going from Fisch to Corley makes you want to kill someone.

Yr REC YDS AVG LNG TD
2014 4 83 20.8 39 2
2013 13 272 20.9 68 2
2012 58 842 14.5 65 4
2011 14 147 10.5 31 1

sry for the schty format. I don't know how to use tables on here.

I think that the saddest part about those numbers is that Dorsett literally had better numbers in the NC State and GT games in 2012 combined than the entire year of 2013. I understand that he was injured for a few games, but honestly the way SteMo was throwing how much better would they be.

Hint: probably not much

This. Last time UM had a stud QB to throw deep to the speed on the outside was when?

Dorsett had 8 coming into the season. Threw a TD too.

I'll add, I think Coley a stud and he will turn it around. Mind you he did not get a lot of opportunities early on last year.

It's still early this season. He will take off. Long season to go. Just want him healthy. Y'all need to chill, it's early. I swear, step away from the ledge.

Things I've been reading... unreal.

The dude is extremely talented. People questioning him? TBH didn't get any opportunities against FAMU and went out really early with injury, should have been in the endzone against UL but it was a horrible pass don't even blame it on him and almost housed a return and the play calling was ****, did him no justice.

He's just dealing with an injury and hasn't got a lot of opportunities yet.

Kid had 1461 all purpose and 10 TDs last season on limitd time. Idc what anyone has to say, lay off the gun. Ya killing me.

It's very early. I would start getting worried if we get more than halfway through the season. He will have a big year regardless.

Let me remind something too. Sammy was the primary for his team his first season, he had a sophomore slump too. And also, his first season. His QB threw 150 more passes than Morris did last season.

Coley was sharing time with Hurns, Dorsett, and Waters and an injured Lewis last year and got more opportunities as time went on. By the way, Coley came in fall ball.

Mind you... Hurns broke a record last season.

And if you wanna go statistically. Coley is a better return man than Watkins was at the same stage.

Coley average yardage every time he touches the ball is special

Would I like him to take the next step and become more complete at receiver... Yes. But he is a very special player and I'm sure he will do it.

**** reminds me of the peeps who were so blind that Duke was on his way to a record season last year before the injury, the numbers are sitting right there!

Y'all need to do a better job of discerning troll attempts at their onset. The ***** said chick and Dorset are better. Clearly he's trolling

I really feel for the players. Our admin with their terrible coaching hires, obsession with APR, and joke strength and conditioning staff has cost countless kids high round draft picks. Coley is first round talent who will fall bc he isn't trained properly.

Sammy Watkins is a once in a decade talent. Compare him to almost any reciver in the last 10 years and I can make the case that he is better

lulz at the some of the posts in this thread. Your frustration is directed at the wrong Coley. Maybe if our Offensive Coordinator called something other than predictable, poorly executed bubble screens and backward laterals, Coley (Stacy) would actually have a chance to develop into a legitimate WR. As it stands, he hasn't been put in a position to succeed.
