2 pm Saturday: UM's investigation into players who might have used cars from a South Beach luxury car rental agency, in exchange for future promises, has expanded and now includes UM receiver Stacy Coley, according to a source with direct knowledge. As we have previously reported, Al Quadin Muhammad and Jermaine Grace also are being investigated by UM for using cars from South Beach Exotic Rentals. UM, not the NCAA, is handling the investigation. UM has declined to say if any of the players will be suspended. Some UM players are expecting short suspensions for the players, but it remains unclear if that will happen. UM is still in the process of determining what, if any, discipline will be doled out.

Another UM player investigated, postscripts, stats and more from Dolphins' 41-14 loss to Dallas tonight | Sports Buzz

Before the weepy vaginas start crying like 12 yr old girls, this sounds like it will result in very little.

(Julio Jones and his $1,000 tailored Alabama suits say hello)

Jesus Christ.

Gotta say, this SoBe luxury car dealer really knows how to pick 'em: the team's best DE, best WR, and best LB. Then liked the way Young looked with his shirt off. Hope we're talking about something silly like extended test drives for a high five. We need all these guys, and badly.

I'm cautiously optimistic, considering Grace, AQM and Coley have remained first-teamers. You have to think that Richt would be giving back-ups more first-team burn if he thought we'd have to play without these guys. Fingers crossed.

This... If the players on the team are expecting a short suspension for them and we are playing cupcakes for the first few weeks

This the update sounded a lot more positive then the one from last week that Barry posted

May be a blessing in disguise... The young WR's will get some more work in the first couple of weeks and get up to speed by October 8th

If Miami is handling this and not the NCAA, I'm hoping Coach Richt doesn't suspend these guys for too long, if even at all.

I never understood why would any booster, agent, etc would be given special treatment to any kid at UM since 2005? Granted alot of the players went off to the NFL and made money but didnt do much in college. But over the years theres been alot of questionable decisions on whose getting special treatment from these boosters and etc...

The joke was that Gawgia always had a few guys suspended for the first couple of games of the season. Hoping that's the worst that happens here.

It's no blessing to have perhaps 3 of the top 5 difference makers on your team hanging in the balance. But, not a f'in thing we can do about it now. Just take it as it comes.

Wow, what a bomb drop here. This is dragging and the local media is having a field day. UM needs to wrap this up before the season as it's become a distraction to all, including players and coaches, with only way to go but further down!
