This guy has done the least with the most on the staff for 3 years solid. During the Savannah State game where we should've just ran all over them at will, we were pushed back and busted in the mouth for the first 45 minutes of the game. Check out what former FSU OL Forrest Conoly had to say. Go to the 52:25 and then the 1:00:25 marks in the video. He was ragging the OL for not making first contact, playing too high, and not being physical. This has bothered me all year. Something is wrong. This 2018 OL is no better than the 2016 OL. Maybe even worse.

Step #1 in fixing this offense has got to be replacing Searles.

This just in...scientists at MIT have confirmed that water is in fact wet.

We'll have more as the story unfolds.

maybe its the players that suck

remeber when you guys said stacy coley would "Ball out" in the nfl lmao

remember when you said ereck flowers would ball out in the nfl

and you said al golden sucked for not winning with all that talent he had?

looks like he had zero talent.

Next post is going to be we need to fire Richt Jr. It's weekly threads of the same subject.

After Richt Jr, it's the locker room insider told me thread.

He's mediocre, and he is working with Jahir Jones and Hayden Mahoney. St Louis is very average and he has a true FR at right tackle. We need better OL talent and I bet his coaching magically improves when that happens.

The Good Ol' Boy will still be in Thee Gables next season. Bloody well guarantee it!:youre-nuts: Why? Because the other good ol' boy AKA Marky Mark says the offense ISN'T executing the plays and what not. Which reads it's NOT Searles or Junior or Marky Mark's fault. hUh.

Its obvious no one on that Oline is getting any better...

What really has be scratching my head is why in the **** he has multiple oline combinations in a single game! im talking having scaife play LT, RT and guard etc one one single game... Never before seen that when it hasnt been for injury reasons.. Pick your best 5 no matter what class they are and stick with them and let them glue together! Biggest thing for a oline is not only to be talented, have an attitude, but also to know whose on their left or right and what to expect! you keep putting out a random combinations and no one gets their feet right and it leads to QBs not knowing if they can step up in the pocket or its best to just bounce out of the pocket

So Al Golden had zero talent at Miami bc two players aren’t balling in the NFL??

He's over the hill.

Should have never been hired in the first place.

His one successful stop at UGA, over decade ago, he had Matt Stafford & Knowshon moreno to cover for him.

He also won a natty at LSU and was on Sabans lauded coaching staff. Notice how none of those guys (Saban, Jimbo, Kirby, Muschamp etc.) have hired him since. They knew he was trash then.

Well duh... your boy Searles is RESPONSIBLE for NOT recruiting ' above-average " offensive line talent! dUh. Because if the " young talent " was there they'd be starting over either Jones or Mahoney! Read true sophomore's or RS-freshmen and what not. Heck, mighty Wisconsin started a TRUE FRESHMEN and RS-freshmen against Miami last season! And both of those Whisky linemen started the ENTIRE SEASON!!!!!!!

It is one thing to be too small, slow, or too unathletic and get beat. It is far different to use poor technique and get beaten by smaller, slower and less athletic opponents..............................

MIxture of both not having the talent and coaching. Wouldn't mind having another coach but I think they would struggle as well with some of the players we have.

Donaldson has been playing out of position, St. Louis has regressed, Jones and Mahoney aren’t Searles recruited guys. Next years line will def be better (Let’s hope). You get Neal and another quality guy then you have no excuses.

Yes. I am very curious about Conoly's comment regarding our OL playing too high. I believe @Lance Roffers pointed this out a time or two as well.

You are right. There are alot of successful teams starting a plethora of TFR and RFR on the OL :6fps6:. So if we replace Searles our OL issues would magically disappear? All of our OL problems are a direct result of Searles? If it were only that simple.
