There are a handful of posters actively hoping we lose. The rest of us can see that this team, with better coaching and a disciplined defensive scheme, is 8-1 or 7-2 on cruise control to the ACCCG in a year we don't have to worry about Clemson. It was there for the taking and Manny **** the bed. Nobody is mad about winning, but those of us who understand this team has Top 15, maybe Top 10 talent, are beyond frustrated watching us scratch and claw our way to 3-point wins against teams we're capable of beating soundly every **** week. A close game against inferior talent happens every now and then but those types of games should be outliers; with Manny it's the norm.

We never had top 10 talent. That's why freshman have taken over so many jobs.

Believe your eyes. TVD is going to be a star. And that means that Manny is going to level up.

Begging for losses will really inspire top recruits to sign here. At this time the kids deserve our full support when it is obvious they are playing with fervor and intensity. Absolutely disgusting that so few are supporting the product of today, gutless posters who flow with the majority. You don't deserve to be fans.

These games are close because this coaching staff is AWFUL. That's why most of us are frustrated. A competent staff has this team ready to play and they blow this GT team out. If Miami had a staff that paid attention to details and built a culture of accountability, this game would have been over by the end of the first quarter. Miami wins IN SPITE of their staff, not because of it.

Do you realize No D Mannys defense has given up more points through 9 games than any Cane team in last 25 years? That includes the worst year under Golden. Maybe if Canes had just a decent defense some of those games would not have been so close and we would have beat NC and Va.

Before TVD I was sure (and posted so) that Diaz was a dead man walking, well he righted the ship so he deserves credit. We could've easily lost yesterday but it was becasue of the turnovers and bad luck that we overcame. Takes character to overcome the mistakes that our best players made. Clutch is what makes champions. TVD is loving this offense and directing it perfectly, so you want a new set of coaches making the team learn a whole new offense, crazy!

There is no guarantee that freshman will get better under this coaching staff. I have seen several players regress during the Manny era. Player development has been a concern for several years now

So you guarantee a new coach will automatically be better (with James picking the coach)...gimme a break!

I am going to support the team this whole season as I have every season. It's nice to win these last three games and see the young guys playing with heart. If the Canes win out (including bowl) then Diaz will get another season. However, I do not see him getting an extension of any type from UM after this season. Next season, Diaz will still be learning to HC on the job. I think Miami is above that.
As far as coaching, I'd rather go the pro route. I don't see overpaying for any college coach when you have a different type of hunger in the NFL. Give me a coach that can make us elite in five years then heads to the pros. Then get me another one!!!!

Let’s see. We are 1-2 in non-squeaker games, 4-2 in squeaker games. That’s 6 squeakers out of nine games. I know I’m squeaking crazy but I think we should be able to beat .500 acc teams and not have to sweat out squeakers all the time.

5th ranked Cincinnati 28 Tulsa 20 and Cincinnati was at home with Game Day on campus and many want the Cincinnati coach here. Tulsa rushed for close to 300 yards. Tulsa is 3-6 with a crappy schedule. If he can't coach a defense better then that he might be worse then Manny.

You mentioned two top 10 teams. It’s okay to squeak out a few wins here and there when you have no losses or 1 loss, especially when you’ve handled the majority of your opponents. But when you get blown out in an opener vs Bama, **** your pants in the 4th quarter vs Michigan State, allow App State to go down to the last minute, then give the game away vs UVA and UNC you have no excuse.

Miami has had a talent advantage in every game except for Bama. We play in a weak conference. We should be a 1 loss team right now.

I like how you used Bama as an example. So UF is in shambles and got blown out by a ****** USC east team, they gave Bama a game and we couldn’t?

You’re argument to defend this sorry staff, and Manny Diaz is terrible. Can’t believe there’s people who believe Manny is the guy, he lost to FIU and Louisiana Tech, in the same season. Case closed.
