Seriously, we need him to completely embarrass us. this university needs to be completely humiliated.

I've always thought Skurrier was a pretentious ****.

I hope he puts Gorlden in his place.

The one thing I think a massive *** kicking by the ***** would do is galvanize those on the fan base that still want to spend money.

We will get more of them on our side with a blowout loss.

I'm sure he remembers the Canes of old putting a foot in the Gators *** when he was a head coach for UF. I'm sure he wants to return the favor, and at this point, I hope he embarrasses Miami. Sad thing is, I'll still feel bad for our players, but fck this coaching staff.
 
I don't even know what to think about this game. the Past 2 losses alone should've been enough to get this jerk fired
 
South Carolina is a very bad team. Worster than UVA.


Golden gets a win here. He'll prep the kids on the bus ride to the stadium in lieu of bowl practices.

We prep'ed well well for Nebraska, Michigan and Wisconsin and won those bowl games the past 3 years. However, this is a completely different team and not nearly as competitive as the last 3. Although, we don't have as many guys this year talking about leaving early (for obvious reasons) so we may come out more focused. However, if we have some coaching changes, that could throw a wrench in the bowl plans.

Being against Miami, I think Spurrier is going to try to keep the team focused on winning this game, but I don't think it will be a blowout unless y'all's players rebel against AG. One or the other team will probably win by 10-ish points. That is a close spread of 1.5 now.
 
After the presser today, I've lost all hope that they fire him. Blake James is betting his career on Al turning it around next year. Only a fool would say the things Blake said today and can Al after the bowl (maybe firing is still possible as BJ is a fool). If firing was in the cards he would caveat his responses more and say things like "we do our evaluation at the end of the season." BJ doesn't want to be the guy pushing to pay the buyout. My guess is that is a hedge in case the next president is an athletic limp wrist.

Side bar, this floored me:

So I have to talk to him about how we can get better to support our team’s efforts to getting better. At the end of the day that’s the expectation of the University of Miami football program.

Efforts to get better? Excellence or nothing chump. They make documentaries about how great this program is and this limp joker has the audacity to say the goal is to "get better" from 6-6? Some one should have taken the mic from him, told him to go home, and put his big boy pants on.

Blake James is the type who thinks youth leagues should keep score: AKA a loser.
 
Orrr, we could win the game and gather a little momentum going into signing day. Golden isn't getting fired, no matter what happens in the bowl. It's silly to think getting curb stomped will help anything.

I do not share that opinion. I don't think blake James is betting anything on golden. UM entered into a contract that required them to hold their breath until after the 2015 season. James is acting on direction from above. He's giving golden one more year because he has no choice. Given that, I can see why he won't require any staff changes either. Blake James wants the whole deal to be on golden's shoulders. He's basically saying, "This is the path UM has been put on, so we're gonna walk this path til the next exit, which is not til December 2015.


Normally, this wouldn't be too bad, but for Canes fans, we've seen this movie twice in the last decade; Once in 2005 and once in 2010.

SFBay Cane...did you just say South Carolina was a worst team than UVA so Al will get a win here?? Have you been following Canes football? The fact that they are worst than UVA scares me to death and the that fact that they are worst than UVA playing in the SEC really means that they are a good team by Golden's standards. We will get our socks blown off in this game. Golden can't win the big one whehter that's a bowl game, a chance to win a division title, or a chance to control his own destiny.

ummm South Carolina is NOT worse than UVa. Thats just not true.

USCe, as sorry as they are athletically, they are a well coached football team with spurrier and can never be counted out because of it.

Thats the pleasure of being a good coach or having one for the team you root for... even in a down year, you can NEVER be counted out of every game.

Saying this a cake walk for a guy who could barely beat jim grobe at lowly wake forest is laughable at best. South cackalacka aint that **** bad.

Yes, but they don't like the publicity.

We need a big COURAGEOUS name to publicly declare the death of U football, and to name the killers. Any of the sports talking heads could get the ball rolling.

However, it'll take someone with unshakeable U provenance to make it work.

JJ or Howard, could shake the BOT to its core. All, together, denouncing the killers, would surely resurrect the now lifeless U.
