Good luck to the young man. If he does anything at UMiss, he will be an exception to the performance of our transfers over the past 20 years. Shawnbrey McNeal did alright a decade or so ago, Storm Johnson too, and our former center is starting at UNC. But by and large it's be a tough go for guys who couldn't make the 2 deep at Miami, much less start.

And McNeal and Johnson ended up G5. Paul at Utah and Brown at K State were all-conference players.

Forgot about Paul. Was he caught up in that whole mess with Eddie? I remember one kid at that time was just sitting outside his front steps smoking weed and got arrested then kicked off the team. Kids were stealing each other’s computers, getting in fights. Al Golden had zero control over his team he was. So desperate to improve talent he’d bring in anyone with a pulse.
