After watching last night’s spring game, we need to admit there are a few bad evals by Mario and the staff. Gore looks like a walk-on. Roberts is a depth player at best. Lichtenstein (see Roberts). Ladson is unlikely to play meaningful minutes unless there is an injury. Unfortunately, all 4 are at positions of need.

It's odd that Mario & co. seem really focused on elite HS recruits, and they're able to land them, but 3 out of 4 portal takes are straight-up JAGs. Maybe there's some justification somewhere.

Well now that you put it that way. His '21 season was wrecked by a pre-season ACL (apparently), and depending on the severity, no telling how that affected '22. The name rang a bell, I guess from recruiting wars years past. Interesting that Life Wallet tweeted it out.
