Wait, wut?!?
Us and Texas are more alike than any other program. Living off early 2000s success. Saying we’re back every year. Saying if our local kids just stayed home we’d be back to prominence. Ohh and getting our school pose flipped upside down every time we lose to anyone.in 10 yrs they have had 2 1st rd picks with 1 of em being the last pick in the first.
They have Ewers and Manning hasnt played a down..their qbs have been getting hyped to be duds since VY.
Us n Tx are in the same boat except they paid for one of the Mannings kid.
Like clock work. And both just had 5-7 season in 2021 and 2022. I think we coming back together too.Us and Texas are more alike than any other program. Living off early 2000s success. May be true but texas is definitely seen by others as being better than miamiin 10 yrs they have had 2 1st rd picks with 1 of em being the last pick in the first.

Yeah it looks like USC might be eating during this spring portal window lolWow

There is one major difference though. Texas is the biggest and most popular school in the second biggest state in the country. 8-4 has a following but it’s more the Auburn to Texas’ Bama. Miami is in a 3 way battle for tops in the state. Texas has been a major major disappointment since I’ve been alive but they have that major advantage.Us and Texas are more alike than any other program. Living off early 2000s success. The majority of players hitting the Portal are Freshmen & young guys in general who didn’t play & couldn’t crack the Spring 2-Deep.
There isn’t going to be a massive wave of starting caliber players who will hit the portal, just off the fact players who are already starting or at least in the 2-deep are less likely to leave.
At best, there might be some G5 & FCS kids looking to come up for some NIL & chance to play P5 ball.

Better at what? SuckingMay be true but texas is definitely seen by others as being better than miami
Staff made the same mistake last year.This..that is why the folks hyped about the second wave were really misguided about that...All the major transfers ALWAYS happen BEFORE spring....
Now NIL "may" be able to spring a power 5 guy here or there but the percentages are low on that.
