Spring Spring PractiSe 5 - Tuesday, March 31

I saw him in another video coaching em up, love to see it.

Also I thought it was interesting in the clips I saw they had a 1/2 line drill, Cantwell was the LT, SJ at LG and Jaden WIlkinson at C.

Only reason I found that interesting is because the starting DE/DT was LF and Scott, likely two starters, and the TE was lofton so it may have been a first string setup 1v1. SJ does look small at LG, he will need to really have some pop to break in on this line but Wilkinson at C was new to me. Hadnt heard much about him, if at all. Have to assume that LG spot is Samson when he is back however.
I think SJ will ultimately be at C, they are playing him at LG is because Samson is out for the spring. Everyone keeps saying how small SJ is, but this staff love him.

I agree on both fronts. Clearly they trust him to be a lead blocker as a TF, he is def out of their normal mold of guys they like on the OL so he must have that pop factor. Also doesnt help when he is sandwiched between a 6'7 cantwell and a 6'6 guy lol I mean Bell made Samson look small at times

From what I've heard from multiple people who have seen practices,he's bad snapping the ball to the QB.Unless he improves that he will continue to be a fullback on goal line runs.

Excuse my ignorance, but how can someone be THAT bad at snapping a **** ball? Like we aren’t talking about a random out of shape sedentary bum off the couch, but a CFB athlete? Is that not fixable after a couple of months of practice? We aren’t talking about Chuck Knoblauch catching the yips throwing a baseball 10 feet, but snapping a football 3 yards? I’m not trying to be funny, I’m legitimately asking cause I continue to read that about this kid and I don’t understand lol

Makes no sense to me either, especially considering that the NFL has 40 year old long snappers, which has to be infinitely harder than a shotgun snap. I seen kids in pee-wee football able to make this snap.
