Official Spring PractiSe #2 - Tuesday 3/7

Zion

Rivers, Cohen, Lee, Cooper, Nelson or transfer

So the same starting five I mentioned with the exception of Zion for McCoy. Another transfer tackle would be nice. I'm just not going to count on Zion playing especially considering he's injured that same knee twice. Tried to come back last year and reinjured it. That's why I went with McCoy.

I dont see a freshmen being starting tackle unless its one of the new guys. I'd be shocked if we don"t add another OT after spring. Outside of Rivers Manny didn't add a single quality lineman.

They’re working him back slowly. Tbh people should use my approach with him, he’s found money if he plays this year. If he’s back to himself and playing…..great. Regardless I’ll be keeping my expectations low.
How bad was his injury

I agree with you on Manny. However, Mario recruited McCoy and there's been numerous reports saying he's showing flashes plus highly regarded. He also has one year ahead in a collegiate S&C program over the other two true freshman. We're all making educated guesses, but McCoy would be the safer bet than the other two in my opinion.

Bro I don’t even consider Zion when thinking about the OL anymore. If he returns to form that’s great but not expecting anything.

So google has you all and others limiting our free speech for ad dollars...
There is no right to unrestricted free speech on CIS and we absolutely censor to protect advertising revenues as is our right to do so. There aren’t the same Public constitutional protections on a privately owned website which exist on a public street.

There are websites which do let people say whatever they want. Posters are welcome to go to one of those websites and do as permitted there if this doesn’t work for them here.

He still doesn't owe "us" anything.
Bunch of entitled folks around here lol

If you feel like he owes you something, alright. Go for it, cant wait for your comments once he doesn't get the amount of wins you want from him.

They don't know what the first amendment actually says or means, brother.
Mother****ers are going to whine about one free-to-use, privately-owned company they use all the time (Google) imposing guidelines that impact their use of another free-to-use, privately-owned company they use all the time (CIS) as if their imagined constitutional rights are being violated.

The injury itself wasn't horrible, it's not like McGahee blowing out three different ligaments.

The difference is that at Zion's weight, and the strain he had been putting on his knees and hips and ankles, it took a lot longer to heal properly, and he may be subject to reinjury if he doesn't address those issues. Which is why he is still being held out.

Aren’t all freshmen “new guys” by definition?
